14 days14 day (2 week) tours in Nepal
Two weeks is the ideal length for Nepal's best known treks. It gives you time for the classic Everest Base Camp trek with flights to Lukla and acclimatisation days, or for the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Pokhara and Chitwan added on.
If you would rather not trek, 14 days is also enough for a relaxed loop through the Kathmandu Valley, the hill town of Bandipur, Pokhara, Lumbini and Chitwan.

Ways to spend 14 days in Nepal
Everest Base Camp trek
Fly to Lukla and trek through Namche Bazaar and Tengboche to base camp and the viewpoint of Kala Patthar, with two acclimatisation days on the way up. Most tours include a night or two in Kathmandu and a spare day for weather delays on the Lukla flight.
Annapurna Base Camp, Pokhara and Chitwan
Around eight to ten days on the trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary, starting and ending in Pokhara, then two nights in Chitwan for jungle safaris before returning to Kathmandu.
Cultural Nepal without trekking
The Kathmandu Valley's seven World Heritage sites, the old Newar town of Bandipur, Pokhara's lakes and viewpoints, the Buddha's birthplace at Lumbini and wildlife in Chitwan, at an easy pace.

14 day tours in Nepal: questions
Is two weeks enough for the Everest Base Camp trek?
Yes. The trek itself takes around 12 days from Lukla and back, so a 14 day tour gives you a night in Kathmandu at each end, or a spare day in case flights to Lukla are delayed by weather.
Can I combine a trek with Chitwan in 2 weeks?
Yes, with a shorter trek. The Annapurna Base Camp or Poon Hill treks fit well with Pokhara and two nights in Chitwan. Everest Base Camp leaves little time for anything else.
Which is better for 14 days, Everest or Annapurna?
Everest Base Camp is higher and gives you Everest itself, but uses the whole two weeks. Annapurna Base Camp is shorter and lower, leaving time for Pokhara and Chitwan. Our Everest vs Annapurna guide compares them in detail.
How much does a 14 day tour in Nepal cost?
14 day tours in Nepal on this page start from $227 per person, and the typical price is around $1,520. Prices depend mostly on hotels, group size and whether flights, meals and entry fees are included, so compare what each tour includes.
What is the best rated 14 day tour in Nepal?
Right now the best rated 14 day tour is "Annapurna Circuit Trek", rated 5.0 from 99 reviews. Rankings are weighted so that tours with many good reviews rank above tours with only a few.
Are there shorter or longer tours in Nepal?
Yes. There are also 2 day, 3 day, 5 day, 7 day and 10 day tours in Nepal, and you can browse all multi-day tours or ask a local specialist to plan a custom trip of any length.
