Set off on an unforgettable adventure through the heart of Uzbekistan’s Nuratau Mountains with our 2-Day Horse Riding Tour. Departing from the historic city of Bukhara, this journey takes you to remote villages, tucked away in stunning mountain landscapes, providing a unique escape into nature and local culture.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Bukhara to Asraf⌄

    At 9:00 AM, depart from meeting point to the village of Asraf. The journey takes 4,5 hours. Upon arrival in Asraf, settle in the homestay and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic 2.5-hour horse ride to the neighboring village of Eski Forish. In the late afternoon, you may watch or join your hosts in the preparation of traditional meals.

  2. 2Ride from Asraf to Hayat and transfer to Samarkand⌄

    After breakfast, saddle up for a 3-hour horse ride from Asraf to Hayat village. Arrive at the homestay by lunchtime and settle. After having lunch, start a scenic 2-hour horse ride to Upper Uhum village, where traditional stone and mud houses stand proudly. Arrive back in the homestay in the afternoon.

    In the late afternoon, you’ll be transferred to Samarkand, a 4.5-hour drive away. Our driver will drop you at your hotel or at the tour ending point

Good to know

Starts: The meeting point is at the statue of Khoja Naseriddin (man on donkey) which is located near Lyabi Haus Pool. Please look for our driver holding our company sign

Ends: At the end of your tour, you will be dropped at the parking lot of Gur-Emir Mausoleum in Samarkand. We will drop you at your hotel if the total number of participants in a group is less than 6 persons.
