Day by day itinerary

1. 1Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley⌄

   Travel from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka road. Enjoy scenic mountain views, Berber villages, and photo stops along the way.

   Visit the famous fortified ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, known for its traditional earthen architecture and desert-route history. Travelers have time to walk, take photos, and explore the area.

   Stop in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Travelers may enjoy a short photo stop or free time depending on the schedule.

   Continue through southern Moroccan landscapes toward Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations, kasbahs, and valley views. Dinner and overnight stay in the area.

2. 2Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert⌄

   Visit Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive canyon areas in southern Morocco. Travelers can walk between the high rock walls, take photos, and enjoy the mountain and river scenery.

   Pass through Erfoud, a desert gateway town known for fossils, palm groves, and the road toward Merzouga. A short stop may be made depending on timing.

   Arrive near the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Travelers prepare for the desert experience and meet the camel team before starting the camel trek.

   Enjoy a camel trek through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, with time to admire the desert scenery and take photos before reaching the desert camp.

   Enjoy final views of the Erg Chebbi dunes before leaving Merzouga. This is a good time for photos of the desert landscape and camel trek area.

   Pass through Rissani, a traditional desert town near Merzouga. A short stop may be made depending on timing and road conditions.

   Drive through southern Moroccan landscapes and palm grove areas on the long return route toward Marrakech. Travelers enjoy scenic views and short comfort stops along the way.
