Day by day itinerary

1. 1Arrival in San Pedro de Atacama⌄

   Upon arrival at Calama Airport "El Loa", go to the counter that we will indicate and with your reservation you will be assigned to a vehicle, a professional driver will take you in a comfortable transfer to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Enjoy the rest of the day to rest or explore the charming city.

2. 2Atacama and Altiplanic Lagoons⌄

   We will leave from our selected hotels early in the morning.

   We will continue to head towards the Salar del Talar where Piedras Rojas is located. Here we will stop where we can have breakfast and observe the landscape.

   We will continue our way to Laguna Miñique and Miscanti, making small trekking to appreciate the beautiful landscape at 4320 meters above sea level.

   Then, we will go to the town of Socaire.

   We will continue our visit through the Laguna Chaxa National Reserve, to know the famous Salar de Atacama. Here we will have time to explore the salt flat and enjoy our lunch.

   In the town of Toconao, there is the Chaxa lagoon, the central point of the Salar de Atacama, unlike other lagoons, we cannot bathe here, but that is not an impediment to enjoying the walk. At 4500 meters above sea level.

3. 3Valley of the Moon⌄

   The tour begins with the departure from our Agency in San Pedro de Atacama, following the Cordillera de la Sal. Formed millions of years ago and subjected to the action of rain, wind, and sun, it resulted in a wide variety of natural structures, with different stratifications and colorations.

   There we will visit the Valle de la Luna , which is part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Famous also for its salt sculptures known as Las Tres Marías, formed by wind erosion. The wind also causes the terrain to be generated similar to that of the lunar surface, hence its name.

   Finally, we will end our excursion with the observation of the sunset from one of the highest points of the Cordillera de la Sal, the Kari viewpoint, and then return to the hotels in San Pedro de Atacama.

4. 4Tatio Geiser, Cejar Lagoon and Ojos Del Salar⌄

   We will begin our early morning tour from San Pedro de Atacama to go to the Tatio Geysers, the highest geothermal field in the world, at 4200 meters above sea level.

   Our first destination will be the highest geothermal field in the world, the Geysers del Tatio, located 4200 meters above sea level. Here we will explore the approximately 80 active geysers, observing the impressive columns of steam and hot water that emerge from the earth at dawn. Here we will enjoy a delicious breakfast while enjoying from the view of steam fumaroles, which can easily reach 10 meters high. After breakfast, we can take a dip in the thermal pool, with an average temperature of 36 ° C.

   We will enjoy a delicious hot breakfast while we contemplate the steam fumaroles, some reaching up to 10 meters high. This will be the perfect time to recharge our batteries while admiring the natural spectacle that surrounds us.If you dare, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural hot springs of Tatio, with an average temperature of 36°C. It is a unique experience to relax and enjoy the natural environment while you immerse yourself in these rejuvenating waters.

   After marveling at the geysers, we will continue our journey to the picturesque town of Putana, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and explore its charming streets and squares.

   After enjoying the Tatio Geysers, we will go to the small town of Machuca. Here you can explore its picturesque streets, visit its old Church and try its delicious cuisine, which includes traditional dishes such as llama meat anticucho and goat cheese empanadas.

   Finally, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama, leaving you near the municipal parking lot. From here, you can explore the town, have lunch, or return to your hotel on your own. If you prefer, we can also drop you off at your hotel.

   We will leave from the meeting point to the Cejar lagoon.

   We will begin our day by heading towards Laguna Cejar, one of the most emblematic natural wonders of the region. Here you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in its salty waters and float like in the Dead Sea, while enjoying the panoramic views of the imposing volcanoes that surround the lagoon.

   We will continue our trip to the Tebinquiche lagoon, famous for its spectacular landscape and its saline waters that reflect the sky and the surrounding mountains, creating a dream scenario that will leave you breathless. You can walk along the shores of the lagoon and marvel at the tranquility and natural beauty that surrounds it.

   Our last stop will be the Ojos del Salar, two natural lagoons in the middle of the desert that seem to emerge from nowhere. Here you can immerse yourself in its crystal-clear waters and cool off while admiring the impressive views of the Andes mountain range and the vast desert landscape that extends around you.

   After this experience, we will return to the center of San Pedro to drop you off near the municipal parking lot, from there you can tour the town a little or return to your hotel on your own, if you prefer to take the private service we can drop you off at the hotel where we picked you up.

5. 5Bye Bye San Pedro de Atacama⌄
