1Secret Bunker & Tectonic Fissures — Fuling Underground & Canyon Day⌄
08:00: Meet your tour guide and travel to Fuling , approximately a 2-hour drive.
10:00:Descend 100 meters underground to explore Project 816, the world's largest man-made cavern from the Cold War era. The UK's BBC once described it as:”China's 816: Where 60,000 soldiers spent 18 years carving a secret atomic city inside a mountain.”
12:00: Your guide will propose several local lunch venues near the 816 Nuclear Project Scenic Area, one of which is Wuqi Restaurant (816 Town). You are free to select any of the suggested restaurants. All lunch costs are at guests’ own expense and lunch is not covered by the tour.
13:30: Visit Wuling Mountain Grand Canyon.Jaw-dropping karst cliffs and sky ladders make every angle photo-worthy.
Overnight: Stay at Yunhai Resort, David Camp Resort or equiv. Comparable substitutes if full, no extra fees.
2Alpine Meadows & Natural Bridges — Wulong Karst Wonders Day⌄
08:00 Meet your guide. 08:30 Visit Wulong Fairy Mountain Forest Park, including a scenic small train ride. Known as Chongqing’s alpine retreat, Fairy Mountain offers open grasslands, forest trails, and fresh mountain air.
12:00 Visit the Three Natural Bridges, a UNESCO-listed karst wonder and filming location for Transformers: Age of Extinction. The tour includes the rotating elevator and eco-friendly sightseeing bus. 16:00: Then we’ll climb the glass walkway viewing platform,overlook the natural scenery.
17:00: After the tour,return to Chongqing.
