    Pinnawala Iperanigama Theme Park also known as Pinnawala Ape Gama . It is located in Rambukkana. Visitors to Pinnawala Iperanigama can immerse themselves in Sri Lanka’s ancient village setting. It was built on a four-acre plot of land near the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.

    Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m (520 ft) over the surrounding plains. There are more than eighty documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings.

    Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress located near the Dambulla town in the Central province of the island. It is also known as Sinha-giri or Lion Rock, a name reached due to the shape of the rock that looks like a lion lying down. Entrance to the rock fortress is through the lion’s paws and when climbed up the stairs, it takes you up to an ancient wonderland. According to histories, the fortress was built during 5th century and has been recognized as one of the listed heritage sites of UNESCO. The frescos painted by the king, mirror wall, gardens on top of the rock, the pool in the garden complex are picturesque.
