Day by day itinerary

1. 1Kigali city tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park⌄

   8 am pickup at your hotel in Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National park for an estimate drive of 2 – 2.5 hours After your breakfast, Afri safaris guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kigali by 8am, with private vehicle after a short briefing then you will start a city tour, the tour ends at 10.30 am. - Visit Kigali city center, car free zone and Kigali Genocide Memorial

   After visiting Kigali Genocide memorial then you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park, with option for Midway stopover Mid-way: stop-over by SŌOKO Xperiences for leg stretching, using the washrooms, having some coffee, and exploring the difference art objects in their exhibition hall. After SŌOKO Xperiences you will then be transferred to your accommodation in Kinigi where you will freshen up, relax and lunch. Check-in at Ingagi Park View Hotel Dinner and overnight stay at Ingagi Park View hotel. Enjoying the traditional dances in the evening and breathtaking view of Volcanoes National Park

2. 2Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park⌄

   Pick-up by 6:30 am after breakfast, then transfer to Park HQ for briefing. At 7:00 am, enjoy coffee and meet park officials at RDB Kinigi. You’ll be briefed, assigned a gorilla family based on fitness and age, and begin the trek at 8:00 am. The briefing covers gorilla behavior, what to expect, and what to carry. At 8:00 am, drive to the starting point where porters will assist if needed. Park rangers will guide your trek. Gorilla trekking runs from approx. 8:30 am–12:00 pm, taking 2–6 hrs. You’ll spend 1 hour with the gorillas—observe, photograph, and enjoy their behavior up close. Afterward, return to the starting point where your guide awaits. Then transfer to Migano in Musanze for lunch (1:20–2:00 pm). Afternoon transfer to Lake Kivu (Karongi) with scenic views. Check-in, relax, dinner, and overnight at Cormoran Lodge on Lake Kivu.

3. 3Lake Kivu Exploration, Transfer to Nyungwe and Tea Plantation Visit in Gisakura:⌄

   8am, Morning Pick up by Boat, After your breakfast. Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Kivu, exploring the islands and enjoying the scenery. Lunch will be at Bethany After Lunch you will then be transferred to Nyungwe Forest National Park in the afternoon. Stop by Gisakura for Tea Plantation Tour (1 hour) after tea tour you will be transferred to your accommodation. Check-in at Nyungwe Top View hotel or Munazi Lodge where you will freshen up, relax and dinner. Overnight stay at Nyungwe Top View hotel or Munazi lodge in Nyungwe. Enjoying the breathtaking view of Nyungwe National Park

   Stop by Gisakura for Tea Plantation Tour (1 hour) after tea tour you will be transferred to your accommodation.

4. 4Chimpanzee Trekking in Nyungwe and Departure:⌄

   Early morning pick-up by 5 am and transfer for briefing at the park headquarters. Chimpanzee trekking through Nyungwe Forest, known for its diverse primate and birdlife. After the trek, transfer back to Kigali for departure. Lunch will be on the way at Uwinka or Huye We hope that you would have enjoyed your time in Rwanda. The driver guide will drop you at your hotel in Kigali or at Kigali International Airport.
