Travel from Buenos Aires to Iguazú Falls via comfortable, overnight bus (with reclining seats). Be fascinated by both sides of the falls, venture into the jungle and get to know the coatis (native raccoons) and the awe-inspiring “Devil’s throat”. Explore by walking trails and the eco-train, in perfect harmony with nature. With daily tours, a professional guide and accommodation included, all you need to bring is your sense of adventure!

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Buenos Aires⌄

    Today, a private transfer will pick you up at your lodging in Buenos Aires. On your way to the bus station, you will be greeted by one of our Destination Hosts, who will check with you details of your itinerary, provide you with printed documentation, and assist you with any information you might need.

    At the appropriate time in the afternoon, you will depart to Puerto Iguazú in a fully-equipped bus with a toilet. The overnight bus has seats that recline 160 degrees or more. **Notes: pick-up from Aeroparque airport or the Cruise Port are also included. Private transfers from Ezeiza airport require an additional cost. Bus-ride estimated duration is 19 hs approx. The distance between Buenos Aires and Puerto Iguazú is about 870 miles (1.400km).

    Welcome to Iguazu! This little and relaxing town is the gate to visit the impressive Iguazu Falls, which have been recently declared as one of the New Seven Natural Wonders!, making them a must-see destination for any traveler visiting Argentina. You will arrive in Puerto Iguazu around noon. Upon arrival to the Iguazu bus station, you'll be driven to your hotel (shared service). You’ll have the rest of the day free to do as you wish.

  3. 3Puerto Iguazu - Full-Day Iguazu National Park: Argentine Side⌄

    After breakfast, we will pick you up at your lodging to enjoy a full-day tour (shared service) to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls; where you’ll be able to witness the jungle’s beauty and have intimate views of this unforgettable section of the Iguazu River. Upon arrival to the National Park, you will show your entrance ticket and enter the park (entrance fee not included).

    At the park, an ecological train ride will take you to the impressive Devil’s Throat, the most important of all 275 waterfalls that comprise the Iguazu falls system. ** In case there are many people in the train to the ‘Devil’s Throat’, you will try to go first to less crowded places.

    After touring “Garganta del Diablo” (Devil’s Throat), you will continue to explore the walkways of either the lower or the upper circuit. Both of them are sure to impress you: The LOWER CIRCUIT, feature a more intimate experience with nature as you walk right into the forest to the heart of the falls, you will be able to feel the “spirit” of the jungle; its humidity, sounds and aromas. The UPPER CIRCUIT provides magnificent panoramic views from the top of the falls. This circuit is the perfect place to kick back and relax with the sound of water in the background and sunlight on your skin. The elevated walkways will take you over the drop line of several of the main jumps. Are you hungry? You will have some free time to have lunch (lunch not included). After enjoying unique views of the falls, you will return to your hotel in the late afternoon. **OPTIONAL: We highly recommend upgrading this excursion to include a boat tour experience.

  4. 4Puerto Iguazu - Half-Day Iguazu National Park: Brazilian Side⌄

    After breakfast, we will pick you up at your lodging to enjoy a half-day tour (shared service) to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls, from where you will enjoy amazing panoramic views that will allow you to take the waterfalls in their entirety. Upon arrival to the National Park, your guide will assist you while you purchase your entrance tickets (not included). Then, be prepared to enter this amazing park and board a bus that will take you to the viewing walkways.

    After a short briefing about the park, you’ll begin to tour the half-mile viewing walkway that provides spectacular panoramic views of the front of the falls. At the end of the circuit, you will approach Floriano Fall and get sprayed by its heavy mist.

    After touring the park, a shared transfer will take you to Puerto Iguazu Bus Station to board your fully-equipped bus that will take you back to Buenos Aires. The overnight bus has seats that recline 160 degrees or more.

    At the appropriate time, you will arrive at Buenos Aires bus station. NOTES: Our itinerary is pretty flexible, so if you want to add extra nights/tours to the itinerary, we can quote it for you. Just make sure to let us know in advance using the ‘Special Requirements’ box while booking. Please note that the exact bus schedule for Day 1 and Day 4 will be confirmed prior to your travel date.

    Upon arrival to the bus terminal a private transfer (including guide assistance) will pick you up to take to your lodging located in Buenos Aires. **Notes: drop off in Aeroparque airport or the Cruise Port are also included. Private transfers from Ezeiza airport require an additional cost.
