    In the morning we will visit Ajloun Castle , one of the greatest examples of medieval Arab military architecture built by the grandson of the great Saladin, and then rebuilt by the Mamluk Sultan Baybars

    Transfer to Jerash, the ancient Gerasa , a caravan city as well as a grandiose multi-layered archaeological site, famous for the imposing vestiges of the Roman city, we will also discover its transformations in the Byzantine and medieval times

    Return to Amman for overnight at the hotel.

  4. 4Amman - Nebo - Madaba - Kerak - Petra⌄

    after breakfast , drive Visit of Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine mosaics and most of all the 6th century map of the holy places in the biblical world

    Continue to Mount Nebo, with its spectacular view of the Holy Land

    drive to Kerak , on which the Italian Archaeological Mission has been investigating for the past three years, built by the Crusaders in the first decades of the 12th century for its strategical location

    After breakfast, visit to Petra , UNESCO site since 1985, which was the "capital" of the Nabataean kingdom and then a commercial hub under the Roman Empire (starting from the 1st century BC). The first day will be dedicated to the enchanting vestiges of ancient times: from the spectacular Siq , carved into the rock, to al-Kazneh (the "treasure"), passing through the theater, the "Royal Tombs".
