Day by day itinerary

  1. 1TRANSFER PUNO - CHIVAY (COLCA)⌄

    WE make a stop for view this landscape, natural lake, with some andean birds traditional of the Reserve Natural

    Other short stop for take a coca tea or using the toilet, a small town surrounded by pure nature

    A delightful experience, a spectacular view of the volcanoes on the other side where you can see some active ones like Sabancaya, in addition to the rich snow-capped mountains and melting ice that surround us.

    Upon arrival at the main town, we will drop you off at the hotel. Here you will have the afternoon free and you will receive some instructions from the agency to continue with our excursion the following day to the Canyon and then travel to Arequipa.

  2. 2CHIVAY - COLCA CANYON - AREQUIPA⌄

    We depart from the Chivay hotel at approximately 6:30 AM with your luggage, as the journey and visits will continue until we arrive in Arequipa in the afternoon. First, we will visit this traditional viewpoint where you can appreciate the flight of the condor and enjoy an impressive landscape, as well as appreciate the depth of the canyon.

    Visit another traditional viewpoint where you can appreciate the high Andean terraces that surround the Colca Valley

    A traditional village where we can appreciate some traditions, taste typical drinks like the Colca Sour, or take photos with trained eagles or camelids

    Optional time at the hot springs; we will also pass through the town of Yanque where you can briefly appreciate some typical dances if available depending on the travel date

    return to Chivay for have a time for lunch with the group and the guide

    This is our last stop, and you'll have the rest of your days to enjoy the charm of Arequipa. We'll make brief stops along the way to take photos of different views and use the restrooms. Departure from Chivay is approximately 1:15 pm. We'll disembark in Arequipa three blocks from the main square. Arrival time aprox 5:00 pm
