Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Samarkand - Iskanderkul (220 km)⌄

    Meeting Driver and transfer to border: Samarkand – Penjikent 60 km Cross border

    Drive along beautiful mountain pass 160 km 3 hours to the lake, make photo stops on the way.

    Arrive mountain camp, 3 hour mountain trekking to waterfalls and snake lake

    Meals: Dinner

    Overnight: Cottage hotel near Iskanderkul Lake

  2. 2Iskanderkul-Penjikent - Samarkand 220km⌄

    Wake up to breathtaking sunrise at the lake, 3 hour hike to picturesque mountain village, hike the lakes shores or ride a boat around the lake 90 minutes (depending on availability-extra payment). Drive back to Penjikent

    On the way visit Bazaar and Rudaki Museum

    Drive to the border, meet your driver and drive back to Samarkand
