Overview

This unique experience offers the visits to 2 most famous cave towns of Georgia. Visit to famous SPA resort of Borjomi, splendid fortress of Akhaltsikhe and its museum. Optional lunch in family organic winery. Overnight in family farm guesthouse located in the middle of wild nature on the embankment of river Mtkvari.

On the second day we will take another road towards Tbilisi, driving through amazing alpine landscapes of region of lakes (Javakheti region). During this experience the guests will have the chance to get in depth introduction to Georgian history, culture and modern life.

    Visit to 6th century UNESCO sight Jvari Monastery

    Uplistsikhe cave town is one of the most ancient historical sights of Georgia, located 20mnts drive from town of Gori

    Charming park of Borjomi, travelers can have some walk in the beautiful environment of the park and taste most famous Georgian mineral water Borjomi directly from the spring

    As an optional we can offer lunch in family organic winery near Gori

    Visit to renovated fortress of Akhaltsikhe (also known as Rabati)

    Overnight: Accommodation will be offered in family farm guesthouse Valodia's cottage, located near Vardzia cave town

  2. 2Vardzia - Poka Nunnery - Region of Lakes - Tbilisi⌄

    Vardzia - 12th century masterpiece of Georgian culture and architecture, must visit place for any traveller visiting the country

    Poka nunnery in Javakheti region, we can visit a shop where different products made by nuns are offered for sale

    On our way to Tbilisi, we will have the chance to have a look at couple of amazing alpine lakes located on our way to Tbilisi
