This quick 3-night Silk Road private tour takes you to explore Chinese section of ancient Silk Road from Dunhuang to Jiayuguan. Attractions you will visit during this tour include Jiyuguan Fort, Overhanging Great Wall, and Mogao Grottos etc. along the Hexi Corridor in Gansu province.

Day by day itinerary

    Upon arrival at Dunhuang Airport or Dunhuang Rail Station, your guide will pick you up at arrival lobby and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Be sure to explore the night market nearby the hotel in the evening! Accommodation: 4-Star Dunhuang Silk Road Hotel or equivalent

    In the afternoon, enjoy a fun hike on the sand dunes to visit the Crescent Spring and Singing Sand Dunes.

  3. 3Dunhuang - Jiayuguan⌄

    In the morning, you will catch 5-hour bus/train ride to Jiayuguan, the western end of the Great Wall for Ming Dynasty. Upon arrival, transfer to visit Jiayuguan Fort that is called The First Pass Under Heaven.

    Then climb up the Overhanging Great Wall, which was reconstructed in 1980s based on the original site with a wonderful view. Afterwards you will be transferred to hotel.

  4. 4Departing from Jiayuguan⌄

    If time permits, you could visit Wei and Jin Tombs before heading to Jiayuguan Airport where this 3-night trip concludes.
