1. 1Njp/ixb to gangtok. (125 kms, 4-5 hrs approx)⌄

   On arrival at njp railway station / ixb airport our representative will welcome you and transfer you to gangtok. Gangtok is a city , municipality, the capital and the largest town of the indian state of sikkim. It also is the headquarters of the east sikkim district. Gangtok is in the eastern himilayan range, at an elevation of (5410 ft). The town's population of 100,000 are from different ethnicities such as bhutia, lepchas and indian gorkhas. Within the higher peaks of the himilaya and with a year-round mild temperature climate, gangtok is at the centre of sikkim's tourism industry. Check-in to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. 2. 2Tsomgo lake and Baba Mandir excursion.⌄

   This morning start for a half day trip to tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from gangtok city. Leave from the hotel around 8-10 am basis availability of permit, the same will be communicated by the driver. The lake is almost about 1km long and 15 meters deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people.

   Further 12kms visit the Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple. Evening free at gangtok for shopping and individual activity. Overnight at the hotel in gangtok. (altitude 1,650 m)

3. 3Gangtok to Darjeeling. (98 kms, 4 hrs approx)⌄

   After your breakfast in Gangtok, you would be driven to darjeeling around 9-10 am. The journey would take around 4 hours. Darjeeling , known as the "queen of the hills" , is located in the Himalayas and offers an unforgettable view of the snow-capped mountains. The tea gardens, tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track add to the charm of this hill station.

4. 4Darjeeling local city tour⌄

   Early morning at 4.00 am visit tiger hill (sunrise point over mt. Kanchenjunga) witness the glorious himilayan mountains at day break. The sunrise against the highest peak in India is a sight to behold, and back to hotel for break fast. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling. (altitude 2042m)

   After breakfast half day city tour covering , Old Ghoom Monastery is the popular name of Yiga Choeling. The monastery belongs to the Gelukpa or the Yellow Hat sect and is known for its 15 feet-high statue of the Maitreya Buddha.

   Scenic point known for its unique uphill train track, plus gardens & a monument to Indian soldiers.

   The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute was established in Darjeeling, India on 4 November 1954 to encourage mountaineering as an organized sport in India.

   Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is a 67.56-acre zoo in the town of Darjeeling in the Indian state of West Bengal. The zoo was opened in 1958, and an average elevation of 7,000 feet, is the largest high altitude zoo in India.(closed on thursday

   Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre in Darjeeling, India is a rehabilitation centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region. It was established on 2 October 1959, after they followed Dalai Lama and escaped from Tibet. The production of Tibetan handicraft is the centre's main activity. (closed on sunday)

5. 5Darjeeling to njp/ixb (72 kms, 3 hrs approx).⌄
