Day by day itinerary

1. 1Almaty — Charyn — Saty — Kolsai Lake 1⌄

   Early departure from Almaty - Walk through Charyn Canyon, along the famous “Valley of Castles” — one way on foot, return by safari vehicle - Transfer to the mountain village of Saty — check-in at a guesthouse — lunch made from fresh, organic local ingredients — tea with homemade jam on the terrace with a mountain view - After lunch — drive to Kolsai Lake 1 - boating or hiking by wish - Evening — rest and recovery - SMOOTH TALKINGS next to bonfire and drinking tea

2. 2Horseback Ride to Kolsai Lake 2⌄

   Horse tour takes 18km both ways - Breakfast at the guesthouse - Horseback route from Kolsai 1 to Kolsai 2 — through forest trails and mountain paths - Picnic at the lake, time to relax and take photos - Return ride to Saty Optional: evening around the campfire with stories and tea.

3. 3Kaindy Lake — Return to Almaty⌄

   Breakfast - Horseback ride to the legendary Kaindy Lake — a sunken forest with trees rising from underwater - Light snack by the lake, free time - Return to Saty, then drive back to Almaty Important note about Kaindy Lake: The trip to Kaindy Lake includes a 40-minute drive one way in legendary Soviet VAZ off-road taxis. The road is rough and bumpy, with river crossings along the way. If you have back problems or other health concerns, please let us know in advance — this route can be physically demanding due to the off-road conditions.
