This two-day fully-loaded tour is planned from Bangalore to Hampi & back via Chitradurga Fort. Hampi is a compelling tourist destination that showcases extraordinary architecture of medieval India. Its landscape filled with rice fields, rivers, hills, boulders, temples, forts, watch towers, aquaducts, gateways, huge monoliths & other hundreds of ancient ruins spread over 26 sq km, is unparalleled in its composition. Its a World Heritage site maintained by UNESCO. Hampi, earlier known as Vijayanagara, was among the five richest capitals of the world in the 16th CE. All the highlights of Hampi—Vittala Temple, Virupaksha, Lakshmi Narasimha, Zenana, Mahanavami Dibba, Hazara Rama, Sasivekalu Ganesha, Hemakuta Hill, Queen’s Bath, etc. shall be covered. We shall also cover the extraordinary Chitradurga Fort too. If Hampi is on your bucket list, go for this tour!

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1La ville Sacre⌄

    This is the biggest living temple in Hampi with Hemakuta hill on one side and Tungabadra river on the other side. The remaining hours that is not spent on the itinerary will be spent on transportation time.

    Lakshmi Narasimha Statue is a jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring work in Hampi. See it to believe it! Badavi Linga is among the top 10 Shiva Lingas of the country.

    As the name suggests, there are 100s of Ramayana stories exquisitely carved on the walls of the temple.

    This huge monolithic statue of Lord Ganesh stands at the foothills of Hemakuta.

    Sunset view from the top of this hill is one of the most alluring visuals that can stay in your memory for a long time.

    One of the finest fortifications in South India which is impregnable, photogenic, historic, legendary, mighty, formidable, etc., all at the same time. Chitradurga Fort is locally known as Elusuttina Kote (meaning the fort of seven circles) and is one of the country’s strongest hill forts. The fort originally had 19 gateways, 38 postern-gates, 35 secret entrances and 4 ‘invisible’ entrances.

    This temple houses the best features of Vijayanagara architecture including the iconic Stone Chariot

    Zenana Enclosure with Lotus Mahal and Elephant Stables are the principal structures that will be covered.

    This is part of the King's enclosure which is in total ruins. It is here that the world famous Dasara procession has its origin.
