1. 1Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Huacheng Square, Pearl River⌄

   After being picked up at the airport, begin your layover tour at the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King and witness evidence of Guangzhou’s ancient past through relics discovered in the tomb of Nanyue ruler Zhao Mo, uncovered in 1983. Explore imperial seal, jade, bronzes, gold and silver ware, pottery, ceramic pillow etc and amaze at its unparalleled workmanship.

   Proceed to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall built in memory of the first president and founding father of the Republic of China.

   View some of the sights as you journey through Huangcheng Square marveling at modern structures like Canton Tower, Guangzhou Opera House and the Children’s Palace and stroll down this busy thoroughfare.

   Enjoy a bustling river scenery on the Pearl River cruise in addition to a large number of historical and cultural sites. Take in views of illuminated by night then be dropped off at your hotel for check-in.

2. 2Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Shamian Island, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Chen Clan Academy⌄

   After hotel pickup in the morning by a private vehicle, your Guangzhou tour starts with a visit to an active Zen temple at the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, one of Guangzhou’s oldest surviving sites housing Buddhist relics brought into China from India.

   Next, make a stop at the Notre Dame of East Asia at the Sacred Heart Cathedral also nicknamed as the Stone House remaining as the largest Gothic Revival Roman Catholic cathedral in China. Enjoy beautiful Gothic buildings and trace its history.

   Proceed to Shamian Island and be part of fashionable cafes and boutiques in the middle of colonial mansions that have been beautifully restored.

   In the afternoon start off at Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street and admire its notable Lingnan architecture, Xiguan folk customs and delve into its commercial side for retail shops, buy some clothes and souvenirs for your friends or family.

   Head to the Chen Clan Academy to learn about Cantonese life and have a glimpse into its art history. At last, be transferred to the airport for departure!
