Day by day itinerary

1. 1Yu Garden-City God Temple Bazaar-Nanjing Road-Bund-Shanghai Tower⌄

   Make your way to 400-year-old classical Yu Garden in Shanghai, built during the Ming Dynasty. Enjoy the beautiful Chinese architecture and water features.

   Move to the City God Temple Bazaar and enjoy traditional buildings. Also do not miss the different kinds of local snacks and local souvenirs in the bazaar area.

   Walk along the famous Nanjing Road, which is the most popular pedestrian street in Shanghai. Experience modern Shanghai by shopping!

   Continue on to the Bund, which for years was the symbol of Shanghai with new financial and commercial houses as well as grand buildings constructed in the 1930s in the European architectural styles cluster along the area.

   Get a feel for this vibrant city and its energy. Head to the highest building in Shanghai, overlooking the city skyline and beautiful Huangpu River, get to know other skyscrapers around the world.

2. 2Jade Buddha Temple-Shanghai Museum-Tianzifang⌄

   Later take a walk around the Jade Buddha Temple and appreciate the beauty exacerbated by two huge white jade Buddhas brought from Burma, one sitting and one reclining representing peace and tranquility for good luck.

   Learn Chinese history from the bronze, porcelain, painting and ancient currency, Chinese jade, traditional furniture etc, you will get a comprehensive of ancient China and be amazed by its splendid culture.

   Head to a typical alley at Tianzifang and witness how legacy residential buildings and factories have been transformed into cafes, bars, galleries, crafts shops, design studios and boutiques.
