Panch Pokhari Short Trek From Kathmandu is one of the best excursion destinations to sights a distinctive culture and traditions as well as views of the mountain series in Nepal Himalaya. Panch Pokhari is named as Panch Pokhari because there are a total of five divine lakes there in Sindhupalchok district of Nepal. Panch Pokhari short trekking takes you to see the 9th highest altitude wetland of the world. It is situated (4100 m) above the sea level. These lakes are an especially popular destination during Janai Purnima in the month of August among Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims. This trekking provides an enormous chance to grasp the Ariel Himalayan landscape, flora and fauna like trees of juniper, pine.

Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Drive from Kathmandu to Bhotang village (1800 m/ 7 hrs)⌄

    Pick you up from your place then our journey starts to Bhotang village is off-road express through Melamchi bazaar and Indrawati river. Slowly, almost (7 hrs) we will reach to Bhotang village. Overnight stay in Bhotang in local hotel.

  2. 2Trek from Bhotang to Nasimpati (3700 m/8 hrs)⌄

    We ascend up to the mountains through stone steep trails with passing rivers, flora, fauna and ridges throughout hiking. After (8 hrs) we will reach to our destination and overnight stay in Nasimapti in tented camp.

  3. 3Trek from Nasimpati to Panch Pokhari Lakes (4100 m/4 hrs)⌄

    To reach Panch Pokhari it will take (4 hrs) by a gentle walk. We will move to Panch Pokhari after regular activities. The full-day sightseeing in Panch Pokhari, hike up to the ridge where we will explore magnificent Himalayan range with five holy lakes. Overnight at tented camp in Panch Pokhari.

  4. 4Trek down to Bhotang village (1800 m/9 hrs)⌄

    We will descend to Bhotang village from Panch Pokhari alongside rivers, jungle, wood bridge and scenery. After (9 hrs) descending, we will reach to Bhotang village. Overnight stay at hotel in Bhotang.

  5. 5Drive to Kathmandu (1400 m/7 hrs)⌄

    Morning drive to Kathmandu via Melamchi bazaar where we will have lunch and continue drive towards Kathmandu. When we reach Kathmandu then drop to your place or hotel.
