Day by day itinerary

1. 1Sumidero Canyon and Chiapa de Corzo⌄

   We begin our adventure at Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport in Chiapas, heading to the spectacular Sumidero Canyon, one of Mexico's most impressive natural wonders. You'll board a motorboat for a two-hour ride along the Grijalva River, where you can admire unique rock formations like the Seahorse and the Cave of Colors. Along the way, you'll encounter diverse wildlife, including spider monkeys, crocodiles, and pelicans.

   Afterwards, we'll visit Chiapa de Corzo, a charming colonial town known for its Mudéjar architecture, including the Santo Domingo de Guzmán Temple and the Lacquer Museum, where you’ll learn about local craftsmanship.

   Overnight: Hotel Provincia or similar 4* at San Cristóbal de las Casas

2. 2Agua Azul, Misol-Ha, and Palenque⌄

   We begin at 4:00 a.m., heading to the stunning Agua Azul Waterfalls, famous for their turquoise waters. You'll have time to swim and enjoy the natural surroundings.

   Next, we’ll visit the Misol-Ha Waterfall, a magical site where you can walk behind the waterfall and explore the caves.

   We’ll finish the day at the Palenque Archaeological Zone, an emblematic Mayan site. Here, we’ll see temples and pyramids like the Temple of the Cross, the Ball Court, and the Tomb of the Red Queen.

3. 3Maya Train and Campeche⌄

   We begin the day by boarding the Maya Train from Palenque. Onboard, you’ll enjoy incredible views as we pass through small villages and lush landscapes, reaching the historic city of Campeche. You'll have free time to explore and learn more about this colonial city.

4. 4Edzná and Maya Train to Mérida⌄

   We visit the fascinating Edzná archaeological site, where the ancient Maya built a great city honoring the power of water and rain. Then, we board the Maya Train again to continue our journey to Mérida, the "white city." Here, you’ll have time to relax and explore the city at your own pace.

5. 5Chichen Itzá, Cenote Ik Kil, and Izamal⌄

   We visit Chichen Itzá, one of the seven wonders of the modern world, where you’ll explore the impressive Pyramid of Kukulcán, the Ball Court, and more.

   Afterward, we head to Cenote Ik Kil for a refreshing swim.

   Finally, we visit Izamal, a Magical Town full of history and colonial architecture.

6. 6Maya Train from Mérida to Cancún⌄

   Finally, we take the Maya Train from Mérida to Cancún, passing through beautiful landscapes and small Caribbean towns, completing a journey full of culture, history, and nature. Maya Trail trip will take around 4 hours
