Day by day itinerary

1. 1Katima Mulilo Airport to Zambezi River⌄

   You will be warmly welcomed by a guide who will collect you at Katima Mulilo Airport at 6:30 a.m. for your transfer to Zambezi Mubala Lodge.

   Once you arrive at Mubala Lodge, get acquainted with your surroundings and soak up the serenity of the Zambezi River. Relax and grab a bite to eat at the Lodge restaurant (at your own expense), energizing yourself for the activities ahead.

   After lunch and settling in, prepare for your first experience on the beautiful Zambezi River. Enjoy a guided sundowner boat cruise, where you'll discover the breathtaking sunset views of the river, creating an atmosphere of serenity and peace. Refreshments and Light Snacks will be included.

   After a beautiful day, Dinner will be served at the restaurant. Enjoy the amazing river view from the comfort of your Lodge and settle in for a peaceful night's rest.

2. 2Zambezi River⌄

   Start your day with a hearty breakfast and let it energize you for all the excitement to come.

   Then enjoy an exciting guided fishing trip where you'll have the chance to catch a variety of species, including catfish, tilapia, nambwe, and the sought-after tigerfish. All fishing is conducted on a catch-and-release basis, ensuring the sustainability of the environment. Please note that any lost or damaged fishing equipment must be replaced at the guest's expense, and drinks are at your own cost. This adventure promises a memorable day on the water, perfect for enthusiasts of all skill levels.

   Due to heat conditions, lunch (on your account at the lodge restaurant) will be enjoyed between 12:00 pm - 3 pm promptly.

   After some more fishing, you will embark on a boat cruise, 1.5 hours before sunset, along the enchanting Zambezi River. Bask in the serenity of the water as the golden hues of dusk reflect off the river's surface, creating a romantic and tranquil atmosphere. Savor light snacks and refreshing beverages as you glide through this scenic water world.

   As your adventure comes to an end, a guide will transfer you back to Katima Mulilo Airport. We wish you safe travels ahead.
