  2. 2Bangkok - Visits - Temples and Royal Palace⌄

After breakfast, we will visit three Buddhist temples in Bangkok. We will start with Wat Traimit, located in the bustling Chinese Quarter, near the Hualampong train station. This temple houses the largest solid gold statue in the world: a golden image of Buddha almost 5 meters high and weighing 5.5 tons. Thanks to its location on a hill, we will enjoy panoramic views of the Chinese Quarter.

Next, we go to Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, where the gigantic statue of the reclining Buddha stands, 15 meters high and 46 meters long, completely covered in gold. Wat Pho is also known as the first school of traditional Thai medicine and massage.

We will also visit the Grand Palace, one of the most famous and crowded places in Bangkok, located within a complex with numerous gardens and temples. Built in 1782, it was the residence of the Thai monarchy for almost 150 years, and although it ceased to be the official residence of the king in 1925, it is still used for some official and religious ceremonies.

Next to the Palace (within the same complex), we will visit Wat Phra Kaew, or the Emerald Buddha Temple, one of the most important in Thailand, where the Emerald Buddha image, meticulously carved from a single block of jade, is located. Free afternoon.

Continue by car to Boon Rawd Farm or Singha Park. This farm is a beautiful agrotourist spot. Inside, you will find a wide variety of colorful flowers in the garden.
