Day by day itinerary

  1. 1Tunis – Kairouan – Tozeur⌄

    Visit Kairouan, one of the holiest cities in Islam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided tour of the Grand Mosque of Kairouan. Take a walk in the old medina.

    Meals: Lunch

    Overnight: Arrive in Tozeur, the gateway to the Sahara. Dinner and overnight at a 4-star Inn in Tozeur.

  2. 2Chebika – Tamerza – Chott El Gharsa – Ong Jmal – Mos Espa – Desert Camp⌄

    Visit the Chebika Oasis, famous for its natural springs and mountain scenery

    Visit the Tamerza oasis and its waterfalls.

    Cross Chott El Gharsa, a spectacular salt lake. Visit Ong Jmal and Mos Espa, iconic locations of Rising Star Wars.

    Cross Chott El Jerid, Tunisia’s largest salt lake, with a photo stop.

    Overnight: Arrival at the camp in the Sahara desert. One night under the stars in a desert tent.

  3. 3Douz – Matmata – El Djem⌄

    Check-out for Douz, nicknamed the Sahara Gate. Visit the local Point of Sale known for the manufacture of Babouches, traditional slippers based on camel skin.

    Check-out to Matmata, a troglodytic Berber village with its famous lunar landscape and houses carved into the hillside. Visit of a cave house to discover the way of life of the Berbers
